There, I said it. It’s out in the open, much as my wife would like for it to be concealed. I’m a magic junkie. If there’s a magician on TV, I’m watching it. And if there’s a magic show in town, I’m going to bend over backwards to see it.
Once I bought a magic kit for $40 and I practiced. Alot. I carried around for a number of years some very thin twine in my wallet because you never know when you’re going to need to make a dollar bill float in the air.
That’s why I’m excited this morning because I found out that at Collegiate Week in New Mexico, where I’m speaking in a week, they are inviting an illusionist to be there one night. His name is BJ Harris, and I’ve heard great stuff. You can check out his promo below.
but will he be as good as the “magician” you brought to retro?
Easy, easy – how can you put that guy in “quotes?” He was a real magician. What a magical night that was.
My church just hosted a youth conference this past weekend and we hosted an illusionist named Drew Worsham (http://drewworsham.com/) from Washington State. He’s a really cool, laid back guy with a heart for God. And his tricks are pretty awesome.
Does this mean I have to go see this master of the illusions? Also, does this mean you will be getting to magic kit out again? I don’t know if I can take it.
